Hyatt Hotels Corporation has named Steven Dominguez its new vice president of brand experience for its Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Brands, the company announced.

The latter two brands are the company’s mostly Caribbean all-inclusive resorts, which have launched in the last year.

Dominguez will be reporting directly to Sandra Cordova Micek, Hyatt’s senior vice president for global brands.

“Steven is adept at working with multiple stakeholder groups through his collaborative approach, genuine communication style and his passion for brands,” Micek said. “I am confident his skills and international expertise across industries will raise the bar as the Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hyatt Zilara, and Hyatt Ziva brands continue to grow around the world. We are delighted to welcome him to Hyatt.”

Hyatt has two all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica under the Ziva and Zilara brands, respectively, along with a Hyatt Zilara in Cancun in on the Caribbean coast and a Hyatt Ziva in Mexico’s Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.

Dominguez comes to Hyatt from Starbucks Coffee Company.

“This is an incredible time in the company’s business, and I am thrilled to be joining Hyatt,” Dominguez said. “The Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hyatt Zilara, and Hyatt Ziva brands have tremendous growth potential, and I’m excited to work with the team to help further elevate and propel the experiential and emotional appeal of these brands globally.”
