Apple Leisure Group is continuing its expansion in the wider region.

The travel giant announced that it would soon be opening its newest Breathless branded resort in Mexico.

The Breathless Cabo San Lucas Resort and Spa is slated to open “in time for the winter travel season” this year, according to a release.

The company’s Breathless brand targets “sophisticated singles, couples and friends.”

“Given the impressive recovery of Los Cabos following Hurricane Odile and continued popularity of the destination, it was the right time to introduce travelers to our innovative approach to the adults-only resort concept,” said Apple Leisure Group CEO Alex Zozaya.

The property is located near the city’s marina.

The company recently signed a deal to open a new resort in Aruba under its Zoëtry brand.

“As Apple Leisure Group continues to introduce its world-class leisure travel products and services in new destinations like Panama and Aruba, Mexico remains a key part of our growth strategy,” said Apple Leisure Group Chief Strategy Officer Javier Coll. “We have enduring ties to Mexico and have enjoyed great success in the region. Our deep industry experience and strong performance record in the country make us a valuable resource for owners seeking to enter a highly desirable market like Cabo San Lucas.”

The company already has a Breathless property in Mexico, Breathless Riviera Cancun on the Yucatan peninsula.
