Music superstar Jennifer Hudson is set to headline the Tobago Jazz Experience this year, organizers announced.

Hudson will lead a lineup that includes Jill Scott, Kool and the Gang and Miguel, among others.

The festival will be hosted at locations including Speyside, Signal Hill, Castara and Pigeon Point Heritage Park, with each community hosting multiple events and performances.

“The Division of Tourism and Transportation continues to invest in this project because it has the effect of benefitting ordinary Tobagonians,” said Tobago’s Secretary of Tourism and Transportation, Tracy Davidson-Celestine. “The hotels, guests’ houses and bed and breakfast properties are all full during this time. This means waiters, taxi drivers, street food vendors, bar owners are just a few who benefit from the Tobago Jazz Experience.”

The nine-day festival will be held from April 18 to 26; this year’s will be the sixth edition of the festival.
