Haiti’s Karibe Hotel Expanding

Haiti’s Karibe Hotel in Petion-Ville is currently undergoing an expansion project.

The hotel is Haiti’s leading business hotel, located in the Petion-Ville suburb of Port-au-Prince.

The Karibe is currently adding 10 new units to the property, which already has 87 rooms.

In the last few years, the hotel has been home to a number of major regional conferences, including the CARICOM Heads of Government summit, the ACS Summit and the PetroCaribe summit, among others.

It’s the latest new hotel project in the greater Port-au-Prince area, following a recently-completed renovation at the newly-rebranded NH El Rancho and an ongoing renovation project at the nearby Kinam Hotel.
