Martinique’s La Suite Villa Hotel Names New Chef de Cuisine

Martinique’s La Suite Villa hotel has named Ivan Duchene the new Chef de Cuisine at its flagship restaurant, Zandoli.

Duchene comes to the property from the Emilie Restaurant in Jakarta, Indonesia. His career has included stints working with Jean-Marie Amat, Alain Ducasse and Jocelyn Herland.

La Suite Villa owner Gilles Duplan said the property felt Duchene’s addition would help to “enrich the cuisine” of Martinique.

The boutique four-star property is located in the town of Trois Ilets. It consists of six suites and nine villas.
