Hyatt will be opening its new Ziva Cancun all inclusive in late 2015, the company announced Thursday.

Hyatt began a multimillion-dollar renovation of the former Dreams Cancun property in June.

The resort will be managed by Playa Resorts Management, the operational arm of the company Hyatt formed last year to lead its Caribbean and Mexico all-inclusive push.

Hyatt opened its first two all-inclusive properties in Mexico last last year: the Hyatt Zilara Cancun and the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.

“We are delighted to see plans for Hyatt Ziva Cancun advance as it will offer a great new resort option for new and existing Hyatt guests,” said Chris Walker, vice president of brand experience for Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara. “The renovation of such an iconic building, coupled with an all inclusive experience, will make Hyatt Ziva Cancun the preferred hotel by families visiting Cancun.”

The property will be located at the tip of the Punta Cancun. It was originally designed by Mexican architect Roberto Legoretta.

The 379-unit resort will include six bars and six restaurants.

Hyatt will also open the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in Jamaica’s Montego Bay at the end of this year.

“We are pursuing additional development opportunities throughout the Caribbean and worldwide, and we believe Hyatt’s global reputation, along with Playa’s knowledge in the all inclusive segment, provides a winning combination that has appeal to travelers worldwide,” said Bruce Wardinski, CEO of Playa Hotels & Resorts BV.
