St Kitts, famous for its collection of diverse beach bars on Frigate Bay, has a new beach bar to boast about: SALT Plage.

The bar has officially debuted at the Christophe Harbour development on the country’s southwest peninsula.

“SALT Plage complements the Southeast Peninsula’s existing hospitality offerings and is a great addition to the Christophe Harbour collection of amenities,” said Buddy Darby, CEO of Christophe Harbour. “We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors from near and far for mixing and mingling under the Caribbean moonlight.”

According to the company, the bar gets its name from the onetime estate of Dr Arthur Wilkin, who ran a salt export business on the same site in the 1940s.

The bar on St Kitts’ Whitehouse Bay was designed by Christophe Harbour’s John Denton Haley.

It includes an 82-foot pier and 1,450 square feet to dock tenders.

The major Christophe Harbour project includes several projects in development, including a planned Park Hyatt hotel.
