THE MOJITO is one of the Caribbean’s signature cocktails, but that doesn’t mean you can’t put a new spin on it.
Enter Pyrat Rum, the onetime Anguillian product that now hails from Guyana, a citrus-hinted rum that is perfect in a modern mojito.
We’ve been lucky enough to get the recipe from the famous RED, The Steakhouse in Miami Beach, which has offered up its Pyrat Mojito recipe just for CJ readers.
Here’s the perfect recipe for a Caribbean Sunday:
Pyrat Mojito
2 oz Pyrat Rum
– 1 oz simple syrup
– 3 lime wedges
– Generous portion of mint
Method:
Muddle lime wedges, mint and simple syrup, then add ice with remaining ingredients. Shake well and enjoy!
Cheers!
