St Kitts’ Kittitian Hill development will be opening its debut hotel on Dec. 1, the property announced.

The Belle Mont Farm will open with 84 guesthouses and seven four-bedroom farmhouses on a hillside amid 400 acres of land.

The December launch will also include the debut of The Kitchen restaurant and The Mill Bar, along with the Irie Fields Golf Course and a fitness centre.

The project is set to open at around $800 per night, double occupancy, including breakfast,, the property said.

Following the debut of Belle Mont Farm, the property plans to unveil several new phases over the course of 2015, including the Mango Walk Spa, the Yaya Groves villas and The Village, a mixed-use project including a film school, open-air cinema and art and food area.

Later in 2015, the recently-acquired Golden Lemon Inn is slated to complete its large-scale renovation.

“Eight years ago we set out to do something groundbreaking,” says founder Val Kempadoo. “We wanted to create a whole new model of resort development, an approach to luxury sustainability that the world could follow. We wanted to throw away the old norms and preconceptions, and create a destination that as well as pleasing its guests also positively impacted the local community. The opening of Belle Mont Farm is an important milestone in our journey, and as the rest of Kittitian Hill emerges, we can see the future community taking shape.”

Kittitian Hill recently named Carlos Salazar as the property’s general manager.
