Grenada will be hosting the opening games of the second season of the Limacol Caribbean Premier League cricket tournament.

The tournament’s opening matches will be hosted at Grenada’s National Cricket Stadium, which has hosted several West Indies cricket matches since 2002, and six matches of the 2007 World Cup.

The tournament will begin on July 11, as the Guyana Amazon Warriors take on the Antigua Hawksbills.

The next two games will see the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel taking on the Barbados Tridents and the Jamaica Tallawahs taking on the St Lucia Zouks.

The Tallwahs, led by West Indies star Chris Gayle, won the inaugural Limacol CPL championship last summer.
