Martinique Set to Host CARIFTA Games

The French department of Martinique is set to host the 2014 edition of the region-wide CARIFTA Agmes.

CARIFTA, the Caribbean Junior Athletics Championships, is being hosted from April 19 to April 21 at Martinique’s Stade P Aliker.

The event is seeing participation from 27 countries and overseas territories across the Caribbean, from Anguilla to the United States Virgin Islands.

CARIFTA was hosted for the first time in 1972, and have been held every year since.

This year is the 43rd edition of the games.
