The Norwegian Epic cruise ship will be making its inaugural call to St Kitts on Wednesday.

The 4,100-passenger ship will dock in Port Zante around 9 AM, remaining until 6 PM. Officials from the Ministry of Tourism and the Captain of the Epic will hold a plaque exchange ceremony onboard.

It will be joined in Port by the Costa Mediteranea, which has a capacity of 2,680 passengers and made its inaugural call to Basseterre last month.

The 1,081-foot-long cruise ship first launched in 2010.

It has a crew of 1,753 and a cruising speed of 20.2 knots.
