The property said the new space was designed to “reflect the tropical Caribbean flair” of the island. It can accommodate up to 800 guests for meetings, weddings and other events.

“In the past few years, we have made significant enhancements to the entire resort experience and we are now excited to be pulling this sophisticated and contemporary look into the ballroom space,” said Tom Calame, complex general manager.

The 411-room property is Aruba’s largest hotel. It recently completed a wider $50 million renovation project that added the new Tradewinds Club and an adults-only pool.
