New General Manager at Turks and Caicos’ Somerset on Grace Bay

The Somerset on Grace Bay resort on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands has named Urmas Karner its new general manager.

Karner, who was appointed by the resort’s Board of Directors, will oversee all areas of operations at the 53-villa and suite resort, which is located on Grace Bay Beach.

A native of NewYork, Karner will be working in the Caribbean for the first time.

“I’m extremely pleased to be joining the outstanding team at The Somerset on Grace Bay,” Karner said. “It is both my mandate and goal to provide every one of our valued guests with an enduring memory of their stay in paradise.”

The property also announced the promotion of Clarissa Cox to Rooms Division Manager.
