The first-ever Royalton resort has opened its doors in Jamaica.

The Royalton White Sands officially opened this week in Montego Bay. It is located at the former Breezes resort in Trelawny.

“It is with great pleasure that I can announce to you that we have opened the doors of the Royalton White Sands,” said Frank Peeters, general manager of the property. “From here on out we will work hard to develop Royalton White Sands to become the best all-inclusive resort in Jamaica.”

The property will include features such as rain showers, free Wi-Fi throughout the resort and free unlimited calls to the US, Canada and Europe, among other amenities.

It’s the latest foray into Jamaica for Canada-based parent company Sunwing, whose Blue Diamond subsidiary also took over the former Breezes in Negril in the spring of 2013.
