AMResorts Debuts Breathless Punta Cana in Dominican Republic

AMResorts has officially opened its new Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic.

The property, which debuted on Saturday, was inaugurated at a special event featuring Dominican Republic President Danilo Medina and several celebrities including reality personality Kourtney Kardashian.

“This new brand launch marks the next growth phase for AMResorts and also emphasizes our commitment to the Dominican Republic where we now have seven resorts,” AMResorts President Gonzalo del Peon said in a release. “Breathless Resorts & Spas brings an innovative vacation option for sophisticated travelers that seek a vibrant social atmosphere all at a great value.”

The 750-room property is the first under the company’s new adults-only brand, Breathless. The company said the new brand was “designed to cultivate guest interaction through energizing entertainment, innovating dining, and modern architecture and art.”

The resort includes 13 dining offerings and seven bars and lounges, along with a “full-service” spa.

It will open its doors to guests on Nov. 15.
