The Peter Island Resort & Spa in the British Virgin Islands is expanding its transfer services from St Thomas International Airport.

The property is increasing scheduled transfers via luxury sport yacht to and from St Thomas International Airport four days a week, with the changes effective at the beginning of this month.

““With more frequent transfers to and from St. Thomas, we can offer our guests easier access and can sell Peter Island as a ‘non-stop’ flight destination,” states Peter Island Resort’s General Manager, Wilbert Mason, in a release. “Now our guests’ vacations can begin as soon as they get off their non-stop flight with a yacht cruise through the Virgin Islands.”

The transfers will be offered on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays, the property said.

The transfer takes about 1.5 hours aboard a 45-foot “Doral” sport yacht.

The property also offers transfers from the BVI’s Beef Island Airport every day.
