Dominican Republic: 4.2-Magnitude Earthquake Causes Light Shaking

A 4.2-magnitude earthquake caused light shaking in the Dominican Republic early Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake occurred about 11 km north of Estebania, and about 13 km west of San jose de Ocoa. It was 67 km from Santo Domingo.
The quake struck at a depth of nine kilometres at around 6:34 AM.
There were no reports of damage or injuries from the earthquake.
