Elegant Hotels Group’s Colony Club resort in Barbados is unveiling a new look on Tuesday.

The property has recently undergone a series of updates, including renovations to all of the 46 oceanview, luxury oceanview and luxury poolside rooms.

“We have put a lot of thought into what added extras we can offer Colony Club guests without stripping away the essence of what makes it such a special place – it’s set to be stunning,” said Sunil Chatrani, CEO of Elegant Hotels Group.

Among the new room amenities include Nespresso machines in all luxury oceanview rooms or one bedroom suites, flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations and custom-made warm-wooded furniture.

The Laguna restaurant has also been redesigned, with a new Laguna Bar.

The colonial-style resort on the west coast of Barbados also said it had improved its energy procedures, with new measures to minimize energy consumption and the addition of a new organic garden.

Elegant Hotels Group owns/operates five hotels in Barbados, along with the famous Daphne’s restaurant.
