British Virgin Islands Premier Concludes Visit to Hong Kong

British Virgin Islands Premier Dr Orlando Smith has concluded a week-long trade mission to Hong Kong.

Smith led a BVI delegation last week that included officials from the BVI Financial Services Commission, the Premier’s Office, the BVI International Finance Centre, the BVI Tourist Board and Member for the House of Assembly J Alvin Christopher.

Smith also met with the owners of the Little Dix Bay hotel to discuss their current plans for the property and the development of the Little Dix Bay resort.

Smith additionally met with officials from Quorum, which is responsible for the development on Beef Island.

The British Virgin Islands is planning to open a representative office in Hong Kong.

The Premier followed up his trip to Hong Kong with a visit to Gibraltar.
