Beaches Resorts has officially welcomed its first guests at its new Key West Luxury Village in Turks and Caicos.

The Key West Luxury Village, which includes over 150 rooms, suites and villas, is located on the former site of the Veranda Resort, which parent company Sandals Resorts International purchased last year.

“The Key West Luxury Village is opening to great fanfare as a welcomed addition to this award-winning resort,” said Gordon “Butch’ Stewart,” Chairman of Sandals Resorts International, in a statement.

The opening of the Key West Luxury Village marks the first major expansion at the property since the opening of its Italian Village in 2009.
