St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas has traveled to Dubai with an investment delegation.

Douglas, who arrived in the United Arab Emirates Sunday night, is holding talks there with potential investors.

He is being joined by Tourism Minister Ricky Skeritt, Permanent Secretary Astona Browne, Consul General Alex Woodley and Press Secretary Erasmus Williams.

The Prime Minister met Monday with Pat McCudden, senior vice president at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and two officials from Range Holdings: CEO Munaf Ali and Vice Chairman Mohammed Asaria.

Last year, another Caribbean country, Jamaica, signed an airlift agreement with the United Arab Emirates.

In spring 2011, the Bahamas and the UAE announced the establishment of formal diplomatic ties.

It is the latest foray into Asia for Douglas, who made an official visit to India in April.
