Montserrat is sending three athletes to the LIME CARIFTA Games, which begin in Bermuda this week.

The team, led by Winston Scotland, will leave on Wednesday.

Lester Ryan, making his third appearance at CARIFTA, will compete in the 100 and 200 metres along with Julius Morris, with Miguel Francis competing in the 400 metres.

Francis is the brother of former Montserratian athlete Kwame Galloway.

The LIME CARIFTA Games is an annual competition consisting of track and field events, with two categories: under 17 and under 20.

Montserrat athletes are slated to compete in several other regional events this year, including the OECS Championships, the Under-23 in Mexico and the Central America and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, among others.
