Trinidad Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is holding separate meetings today in London with the CEO of BP, Robert Dudley and Roland Fisher, the CEO of Gasfin.

The Prime Minister will discuss energy matters related both to Trinidad and other Caribbean states.

BP’s Trinidad operations are the government’s single-largest source of government revenue, producing 450,000 barrels of oil per day, and is the main supplier of gas to the domestic industrial sector.

Approximately 60 percent of BPTT’s current production is exported to the US and Europe by Atlantic LNG.
