Guyana, Canada High Commissioner Meet

Guyanese President Bharrat Jagdeo met with new Canadian High Commissioner David Devine yesterday in a ceremony to present Devine’s letters of credence to the president.

Devine said he vowed to continue the longstanding relationship between the two countries, which he said holds tremendous potential for economic growth and investment.

“I will be working hard to make sure that this happens in a socially responsible manner.” he said.
