Caribbean Finance Ministers Meet in St Kitts and Nevis

Ministers of Finance from across the Eastern Caribbean held meetings this weekend in St Kitts.

The officials were on the island to attend the 78th Meeting of the Monetary Council of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, which was followed by meetings between Caribbean Finance Ministers and multilateral institutions including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Caribbean Development Bank.

The meetings were followed by similar meetings of the Monetary Council and the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union Public Service Unions.

All of the talks were held at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s headquarters in St Kitts on Friday.
