Gwyneth Paltrow’s New Caribbean Cruises

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - August 12, 2021

Gwyneth Paltrow’s wellness brand, Goop, is launching a series of Caribbean cruises, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The sailings are the product of a partnership between Goop and Celebrity Cruises, which will be bringing goop personalities on board for a series of four cruises.

The cruises, which will kick off in October, will include workouts, mindfulness sessions and other “exlclusive programming.”

Paltrow has serve as Celebrity’s “Well-being Advisor” since April 2021.

That’s led to the goop team’s curation of wellness offerings on Celebrity ships, including fitness kids, on-demand wellness classes on TVs and custom smoothies.

“As our guests have returned to travel, they’ve expressed how sailing has been a source of healing for them after a very challenging year,” said Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo. “Nowhere else can guests experience this powerful confluence of the serenity of the sea with physical and emotional wellness.”

Goop personalities set to appear on the ships include energy healer Dana Childs; Colette Dong, the founder of the ness, New York’s trampoline cardio studio; and Tina Jackson, the model, fashion stylist and movement curator.

The ships will sail out of Fort Lauderdale and Miami, with Celebrity Summit out of Miami on Oct. 9; Celebrity Apex on Oct. 24 out of Fort Lauderdale; Celebrity Edge on Oct. 30 out of Fort Lauderdale and Celebrity Millennium on Dec. 13 out of Fort Lauderdale.

“Physical, mental, and spiritual well-being are inextricably connected—and how fun to explore all, on the water, in the Caribbean,” said Kiki Koroshetz, goop’s Senior Wellness Director and contributor to Celebrity’s Women in Wellness group. “We look forward to sharing the wisdom of an incredible group of teachers with Celebrity Cruises’ guests.”
