Ireland’s Aer Lingus is launching a new nonstop route to the island of Barbados, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The carrier will be operating a new route from Manchester, UK to Barbados beginning Oct. 20, subject to government approvals.
The new route will be operating three times each week, according to the company.
It’s Aer Lingus’ first-ever service from Manchester to Barbados, and another new route for what is becoming a growing hub for Caribbean travel in Manchester.
The new route is also a boost for travelers looking to connect to Barbados from Aer Lingus markets like Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
