Three Top Turks and Caicos Hotels Add Testing Sites

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 28, 2021

Three of the top hotels in Turks and Caicos have added testing sites for travelers, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Shore Club, The Palms and The Sands, all Hartling Group Resorts, have added designated rapid-testing locations.

Testing is complimentary for all paying resort guests at the Shore Club and The Palms, and $25 for guests at The Sands at Grace Bay.

Testing is also open to non-guests for $50 per person, with appointments required.

The properties are working on testing in collaboration with Provo’s Flamingo Pharmacy, which oversees testing operations at each resort.

The tests help travelers meet the new CDC requirements for all incoming travelers to the United States, which include a mandate for a negative test result taken and received within 72 hours of travel back to the US.

“The Hartling Group has worked closely with The Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands and other private sector partners to ensure a smooth roll out and can confirm that the destination has well above the capacity to meet the current testing load for visitors and residents alike,” The Hartling Group said in a statement.
