Jamaica is now requiring proof of negative COVID-19 tests for all visitors coming from the United States. 

The move applies to all non-residents 12 years of age and older. 

The tests must be taken within 10 days prior to the visitor’s intended date of travel to Jamaica.  

Jamaica had already been requiring proof of negative tests for U.S. travelers from Arizona, Florida, New York and Texas; it now applies to all 50 states. 

Jamaica will continue its health screening and risk assessment protocols for all travelers upon arrival. 

All tourists will be allowed to go to their hotel under a stay-in-resilient-corridor order, meaning the country’s traditional tourism hub on the north coast including Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios. 

Those who are subject to further testing must stay in their rooms until their results are received, Jamaica’s government said.
