The Sirenian Bay Resort and Villas in Belize has completed a major expansion project.
The Placencia-area family-owned resort has debuted a total of 12 new beachfront bungalows, with a mix of one- and two-bedroom units.
Each of the bungalows has either ocean or pool views, along with private porches or balconies and outdoor showers.
The resort is the brainchild of Brian and Brenda Montgomery, who originally came to Belize looking to build a family vacation home and ended up with a luxury resort.
The pair also owns the Placencia-based Captain Jak’s tour company, along with Inky’s 19th Hole Bar and Grill in town.
The couple has also announced the purchase of a five-acre private island off the coast of Placencia that will be used for guest experiences as soon as next year.
