Trinidad and Tobago Names New Ambassador to Venezuela

Anthony David Edghill has been appointed Trinidad’s Ambassador to Venezuela, following a ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wednesday.
Edghill, a longtime professional in the foreign service, has served 16 years with Trinidad’s foreign missions in Venezuela, Canada and New York, along with another 10 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Port of Spain.
He was the director of the Ministry’s CARICOM and Caribbean Affairs Division and HEad of European Affairs.
Edghill holds postgraduate certification from the University of the West Indies and the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas.
