It’s been a big year for Riu Hotels and Resorts, which opened yet another all-inclusive in Mexico this week.
Just weeks after the debut of its new Riu Palace Costa Mujeres on the Caribbean coast of the country, Riu has unveiled its new Riu Palace Baja California in Los Cabos.
The property becomes the third Riu-branded all-inclusive in the wider Los Cabos area.
The new resort has more than 600 rooms and two conference spaces.
The new adults-only property is set in El Medano beach in Cabo San Lucas, with four pools, two swim-up bars, a full-service spa and full exchange privileges with the adjacent Riu Santa Fe and Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas.
There are five restaurants at the hotel, from the Indian-style Taj Mahal to a “fusion” eatery called Krystal.
“RIU Hotels & Resorts are consistently a popular choice amongst our clientele and we are certain that this latest addition to their line up in Los Cabos will be well received,” said Andrew Dawson, president of tour operations for Sunwing, which will be working with the resort.
