It’s not always easy to find accessible rooms in the Caribbean — particularly at all-inclusives.
But the trend is beginning to change, thanks to efforts like those at the Seadust Cancun Family Resort in the Mexican Caribbean.
The property has unveiled new handicap accessible suites for travelers with special needs, it announced this week.
The new suites, set on the first floor of the Cancun-area resort, were feature ample doorways, wheelchair-accessible bedrooms, shower chairs, roll-under sinks, toilets with handlebars and accessible beds.
The Cancun all-inclusive has a total of 11 restaurants, 11 bars and a live theater, among other amenities.
