BVI’s Oil Nut Bay Breaks Ground on New Villa

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 12, 2018

By the Caribbean Journal staff

In another important step for the British Virgin Islands’ recovery, the Oil Nut Bay luxury development on Virgin Gorda has broken ground on its first new villa since Hurricane Irma.

The contemporary, courtyard-style villa was designed by M+T AD, with a more modern contrast to the typical island design.

The 4,000-square-foot villa will include a private zen garden, a secluded floating pool and a wood-clad yoga deck, along with an outdoor shower.

The villa will include its own “floating” pool.

The villa will also feature a landscaped path leading to a completely private section of Oil Nut Bay’s beach.

When completed, it will eventually be part of Oil Nut Bay’s villa rental program, according to the company.
