The Silversands Grenada resort, which is slated to open in March 2018, has joined The Leading Hotels of the World.

LHW is a curated collection of independent luxury hotels; Silversands is the first Grenadian resort to be a member.

“We are honored to partner with The Leading Hotels of the World as a member of its carefully curated luxury hotel collection,” said Christian Langlade, General Manager of Silversands Grenada. “Leading Hotels is one of the most prestigious and respected hotel organizations in the world, and we look forward to opening our doors next spring with its seal of approval. We are thrilled to bring the island of Grenada into the collection’s fold, and to introduce discerning travelers to the enthralling beauty of the Caribbean’s last secret hideaway.”

Silversands will be located on Grenada’s famous Grand Anse Beach with 43 suites and a mix of nine hillside and beachfront residential villas.

“The Leading Hotels of the World is delighted to welcome Silversands Grenada into our collection of uncommon, independent hotels,” said Deniz Omurgonulsen, Vice President, Membership, The Leading Hotels of the World. “As the only Leading Hotel on this extraordinary island, Silversands Grenada will bring a new modern luxury resort experience to curious travelers. The property’s stunning design, immersive island activities and local cuisine will offer an unmatched Grenadian experience when it opens in 2018.”

Silversands is one of several high-profile new projects in Grenada, along with the highly-anticipated Kimpton Kawana Bay.
