Princess’ Newest Culinary Cruise

Princess Cruises is launching a new Culinary Cruise Series featuring a pair of top Miami chefs, the line announced this week.

Sailing out of Fort Lauderdale in February, Miami-based chefs Brad Kilgore and Scott Linquist will join travelers on Regal Princess for a week-long journey to the Western Caribbean.

The chefs will offer a range of “curated culinary experiences” and demonstrations.

Guests will be able to participate in chef-led cooking demonstrations, interviews, cookbook signings and special menus throughout the ship’s restaurants and bars.

“Dining onboard a Princess cruise ship is a culinary journey from the food made from scratch to the award-winning chef partnerships we have on board,” said Gordon Ho, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Princess Cruises. “For this unique cruise experience, Chef Kilgore and Chef Linquist will bring their food experience —both in and out of the kitchen—to excite and educate our guests.”

The chefs will each personally lead a customized shore excursion, with Linquist leading an excursion in Cozumel, while Kilgore will lead the journey in Jamaica.

Kilgore is the chef behind Miami’s ultra-hot Alter restaurant, while Linquist is the brains behind the Coyo Taco restaurant in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.

“I am proud to represent the expanding Miami food scene to the Princess Cruises guest,” Linquist said. “I love cooking, teaching and interacting with passionate food lovers.”
