AccorHotels, has announced the appointment of three executives to its luxury division.

The announcement follows the acquisition of FRHI Hotels & Resorts and its three luxury hotel brands: Raffles, Fairmont and Swissôtel.

Greg Doman, François Baudin and Laure Morvan have been respectively appointed Senior Vice President of Development – North and Central America, Luxury Hotel Americas & Residential; Senior Vice President of Development of Luxury Hotels – Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Vice President of Development of Luxury Hotels ASPAC.

In their new roles, they will report to Gaurav Bhushan, AccorHotels’ Global Chief Development Officer.

These appointments aim to align the development team with the new global organization, following the creation of the luxury division headed by Chris Cahill, AccorHotels’ CEO of Luxury Brands.

“The integration of FRHI makes AccorHotels a worldwide leader in the luxury segment,” said Bhushan. “As the Group enters this new exciting adventure, we have set ourselves ambitious targets across all regions to enhance our network in this segment. The luxury development teams led by Greg, François and Laura will combine their expertise with the knowledge and network of our regional development teams worldwide to expand our luxury and upscale brand portfolio and strengthen our leadership in this segment.”

Doman has worked with FRHI for 13 years and brings extensive experience in both the fields of luxury hotels and branded residential development.

In his role, he will lead the development for the North and Central America network, and also work closely with Abel Castro, Senior Vice President of Development – South America, for the development of the luxury and upscale network there.

Doman will also be responsible for the branded residential business globally for the group.
