A different kind of all-inclusive?

This fall Jamaica will welcome yet another all-inclusive resort. But this one claims to be different.

Aimed at digital nomads, “workcationers,” and other travelers who must stay connected even while in Paradise, the 13-room, adults-only Rock Cliff Jamaica is scheduled to open in Tower Isle, St Mary, in October 2016.

“We plan to cater to the needs of our guests ensuring that they have all of the necessary amenities, from high-speed Internet to comfy indoor and outdoor work spaces to exceptional customer service,” says Stephanie M. Clark, COO of Dreamers Resorts, owners of the hotel, located five minutes’ drive east of Ocho Rios. “Our resort will be the perfect location for short or extended stays for those who are not confined by office walls, and can work from anywhere with Internet access.”

When complete, Rock Cliff Jamaica will feature a tennis court, a swimming pool and its own beach, clustered around a main house that will serve as communal social and event space for guests. Room inventory will comprise 10 ocean-view rooms built into the cliff, a two-bedroom suite, and a pair of poolside villas.

To raise seed funds for the new venture (which is a renovation of an existing property), Dreamers Resorts will launch a six-week crowd-funding campaign on February 15, during which guests can buy hotel packages at up to 50 percent off regular rates.
