It’s a frequent complaint at Caribbean airports: there’s no Wi-Fi, free or otherwise.
But more regional airports seem to be considering making the investment to satisfy travelers, and Aruba is the latest to do so.
Aruba’s Reina Beatrix International Airport has officially launched free Wi-Fi for airport users and passengers.
That means passengers can now surf the internet, social media and communicate with friends and loved ones while waiting for their flights.
Of course, there are still far too few airports that have the service — here’s hoping it’s a growing trend.
It’s the latest digital innovation at the island’s airport; Aruba recently became the first Caribbean island to offer digital embarkation and customs cards for incoming travelers.
