It’s the Caribbean’s most unique delivery service.

Caribbean carrier WINAIR has launched what it almost certainly the Caribbean’s first-ever airplane pizza delivery.

The company has partnered with Domino’s to deliver pizza to residents on the islands of both Saba and St Eustatius.

Pizza seekers can call Domino’s location at the airport in St Maarten; Domino’s bakes the pizza right before the flight, and then Winair then packs it in an insulated heating bag and flies the order to the islands where it can be picked up at the WINAIR airport counter.

“Partnering with a company with a stature like Domino’s is not only desirable for WINAIR, but moreover an additional service we can offer the residents of the surrounding Islands,” said Michael Cleaver, President and CEO of WINAIR.

There are no Domino’s locations in either Saba or St Eustatius. Flights from St Maarten to both islands generally take less than 20 minutes.

“Domino’s Mission Statement is to be the number one pizza delivery company in the world…and in every neighborhood,” said John Caputo, the local Domino’s franchisee. “With this partnership, we are taking mission this to new heights. Delivery by airplane! We are excited to partner with Winair to be able to provide this service that Saba and Statia residents have been longing for.”
