There’s Now a Kosher, Vegetarian Caribbean Restaurant in Brooklyn

It’s likely the first of its kind in the world: a kosher, vegetarian Caribbean restaurant. And it’s in one of the great Caribbean outposts outside of the region.
It’s called Fiya, and it’s now open in the DUMBO neighbourhood of Brooklyn, New York.
That means an eclectic menu featuring everything from sorel to veggie jerk chicken to something called “AnyTing stew.”
