Caribbean Financial Services Industry to Gather at OffshoreAlert Conference

Leaders and newsmakers from across the Caribbean financial services industry will gather at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach in Miami next month for the annual OffshoreAlert Conference.

The 12th annual Offshore Alert Conference will take place at the Ritz-Carlton from May 4 to May 6, with more than 250 delegates from 25 countries expected to attend.

Among the scheduled speakers this year are Gonzalo Jalles, CEO of Cayman Finance, British Virgin Islands Commercial Court Judge Edward Bannister, QC, Bermudian Chief Justice Ian Kawaley and Tim Ridley, former chairman of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, among others.

Also on hand will be former United States prosecutor Joel Cohen, who led the prosecution of Wall Street fraudster Jordan Belfort, who was famously portrayed in the recent film, “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
