Jamaican music star Shaggy will headline a concert during Antigua Sailing Week, organizers announced.

Shaggy will be joined by Antigua native Tian Winter at the show, which will be sponsored by Antigua’s English Harbour Rum.

Shaggy is a Grammy Award winner and four-time Grammy nominee.

“We wanted to select an act that would appeal to the broad cross section of visitors as well as the Antiguan party crowd and Shaggy definitely fits the bill,” said Calbert Francis, Caribbean Sales Manager of Antigua Distillery. “And of course the combination of Rum and Reggae is one which we know the sailors love.”

Antigua Sailing Week, which first launched in 1968, lasts from April 26 to May 2, highlighted by the famous Guadeloupe to Antigua race.
