Memories Splash, Royalton Resorts Open in Dominican Republic’s Punta Cana

Blue Diamond Hotels & Resorts has opened a pair of new all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic.

The company debuted its new Memories Splash Punta Cana this weekend, while the the adjacent Royalton Punta Cana Resort & Casino opened Tuesday morning.

The Memories property has a total of 525 rooms, with nine restaurants and 11 bars; the Royalton has a total of 470 guest rooms, with 10 restaurants and nine bars.

The Royalton’s debut follows the opening last week of another Royalton hotel in Jamaica.

The adjacent properties are located in the Bavaro area of Punta Cana.

Blue Diamond Resorts is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canada-based Sunwing Travel Group.
