Ewing, who left the territory on June 1, will conclude the visit on June 8.

He is leading a delegation of finance, investment, tourism and trade officials and members of the private sector. The territory is making presentations this week under the theme of “The Turks and Caicos Islands, A Beacon for Investment, Open for Business.”

Several other leaders from the Caribbean are attending, including Anguilla Chief Minister Hubert Hughes and British Virgin Islands Premier Dr Orlando Smith.

The TCI delegation includes Finance Minister Washington Misick, Director of Tourism Ralph Higgs and TCI Tourist Board Chairman Kingsley Been, among others.

The TCI said its presence in New York was made possible through a partnership with local businesses including Digicel and Scotiabank.
