St Kitts and Nevis Tourism Minister Ricky Skerritt made a working visit to Taiwan this week.

The Minister, whose portfolio also includes International Transport, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, met with a group of Taiwanese officials, including Transport Minister Kuang-shih Yeh and Vice Minister for Economic Affairs, Shih-chao Cho.

He also held discussions with Taiwanese trade officials, and visited the 2013 Taipei Tourism Expo, among other stops.

Taiwan and St Kitts and Nevis have been ramping up their collaboration in recent years, led by a number of high-profile green energy projects.

The latest is a planned 1 megawatt solar farm at Robert L Bradshaw International Airport, which is set to be completed later this year.
