Jamaica’s Warren Weir took home the crown in the men’s 200M in New York on Saturday, finishing in 20.11, ahead of Panama’s Alonso Edward and the United States’ Jeremy Dodson.

It was America’s Tyson Gay that won the men’s 100M, typically a strong point for Jamaican sprinters, ahead of fellow American Ryan Bailey and Trinidad and Tobago’s Keston Bledman.

Jamaicans Nesta Carter, Jacques Harvey, Nickel Ashmeade and Kemar Bailey Cole finished fourth through seventh, respectively in the 100M.

On the women’s side, Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell-Brown and Anneisha McLaughlin finished 1-2 in the 200M, followed by American Sherone Simpson on Saturday.

The meet took place at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island in New York City.
