Mark Lyttleton-Frances has been named the new general manager of the Radisson Aruba Resort, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group announced Thursday.

Lyttleton assumed his role Jan. 8. He was previously the general manager of the BodyHoliday LE SPORT in St Lucia, which he had joined in 2011.

“Mark brings a wealth of experience in the luxury resort segment, as well as the Caribbean market,” said Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer, Radisson, Americas. “I am confident his leadership skills and attention to detail will strengthen Radisson’s position as the island’s leading resort, offering impressive service and facilities on the island’s best beach.”
The Radisson property recently concluded a $30 million renovation, according to a release; the project featured upgrades to the resort’s 355 rooms and other areas.

Lyttleton-Frances has also served as regional general manager for development with MacDonald Hotels and Resorts in the United Kingdom, among other posts.
