Caribbean Postcard: Looking to the Future in St Kitts

This is no ordinary infinity pool. Yes, it goes on forever toward the Caribbean Sea. But what’s really display here is the future of tourism in St Kitts. Today’s Caribbean Postcard is a snapshot from one of the newly-built cottages at the large-scale Kittitian Hill project, located on a 400-acre site on the northern tip of St Kitts. Kittitian Hill, the brainchild of developer Val Kempadoo, is one of two major projects, along with the Christophe Harbour development, on which St Kitts is pinning its tourism hopes for the near and long-term future. For now, just enjoy the view. — CJ
